Over the years the Paré Labrecque Training Centre has been committed and dedicated to be a voice for voiceless seniors. The staff, students and volunteers worked with a deep sense of caring towards seniors in loss of autonomy. Micheline Paré, executive director received honours and recognition on behalf of the Centre. As well, employees, graduates, Board members and friends associated to the Centre received acknowledgment for their compassionate heart.

Denise Monteith, graduate, received an Award from the Alzheimer Society of Calgary
Brian Oshi, graduate, received a recognition by the ALS Society of Alberta (Lou Gehrig)
The Senate of Canada proclaimed May 20th Day of Compassion
120 countries and Canadian cities join in celebration May 20th Day of Compassion
The Catholic Health Association gives the Centre a Certificate of Merit
Sheila O'Brien, president of Nova Corp. selected the Centre at the Philanthropy diner in Calgary.
Jerry Pitts, Board member for years is renowned and recognized for his advocacy
In 2006, the Centre was nominated for the Minister's Seniors Awards in Alberta

Support
A generous anonymous donor supported our school for numerous years.
The Support group directed by Sylvia Hackman gives us a grant for our students.
Grants from the provincial and federal governments support our projects.
The Prisoners of War granted us a donation to support our efforts.
The Ambassador from Cameroun approached us to have our Centre in his country.
Jo Ceci, Alderman, City Hall, Calgary, officiates the Centre's Vigil event.
Ron Boruck, architect, designed our “dreamed” care centre
Winston Parker is a faithful believer in our cause and donor for May 20th Ice Cream event (distributing ice cream to selected seniors' facilities).

Long-term care facilities are in touch regularly requesting “our” graduates.
Books are sold and given across Canada. E-mails and calls inform books are going overseas

Accredited training program - 1995-2008
. 24 Graduation ceremonies from 1995 to 2008. The Paré Labrecque counts over 300 graduates.

Conferences and seminars - 1995-2011
. Groups across Alberta demand seminars: Simone Michaud and Micheline Paré tour 15 and more communities in the province over the years: Peace River, Bonnyville, St.Paul, Falher, St.Isidore, Legal, Valleyview, Grand Prairie, St. Albert, Trochu, Okotoks, Canmore, Lethbridge, Calgary, High River.
. Conferences are given in the provinces of Alta, Sask, Quebec, New Brunswick and Yukon in 2010.
